The Rare Finch Conservation Group ( RFCG ) has launched an exciting new print campaign to help raise funds to finance the proposed Phase 3 field research work up in Uganda . The ad campaign, which is currently in use in South Africa, helps to promote the DVD titled : Searching for Shelley’s finches amongst Africa’s Mountain Gorillas. Every DVD sold goes towards funding this very worthwhile conservation project.
The visuals of the Mountain Gorillas used in the above print campaign were kindly provided by Cheryl Mares , who is an honourary RFCG member living in Brisbane, Australia and the visual of the elusive threatened Shelley’s crimsonwing finch is courtesy of www.gorilla.org.
Should followers and supporters of the RFCG wish to use an adapted version of any one of the above or all 3 of the ads in their own country then they must please contact Eelco Meyjes at editor@avitalk.co.za who will gladly prepare the necessary material for each market accordingly. Supporters of the RFCG are urged to try and run the above ads free of charge in their own respective markets to help raise the much needed funding.
The Rare Finch Conservation Group is registered in South Africa as a non-profit organisation . It is totally dependent on donations and sponsorships for its future survival . For more information on this pioneering conservation group please contact editor@avitalk.co.za
