This weekend will be the Fourth International Finch Convention hosted by the Queensland Finch Society in Brisbane Australia . The convention will run from Friday 29 April to Sunday 1 May and should once again prove to be a great success. More than 120 delegates will be attending and 9 speakers from Australia and 3 international speakers will be sharing their expertise at the convention
Following a very successful trip to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda by both Russell Kingston and Professor Ernst Kruger a few weeks ago, plus a highly productive RFCG boot camp held in Johannesburg, a number of exciting new plans were hatched to help advance our conservation work going forward
All the plans will be announced at the convention by Russell and Ernst this weekend, and will be posted early next week on the RFCG blog for everyone to enjoy an upto the minute update on what’s happening.
