RFCG website goes Dutch …and will soon also be in German

The Glen Holland seedeaters safari of South Africa ended at the impressive Monte Casino Bird Gardens in Johannesburg . Case Hulsebosch, who translated the RFCG website into Dutch, can be seen third from right in shorts and a white beard

Case Hulsebosch, who is Dutch and is an avid finch enthusiast that lives in New Zealand , in December last year visited South Africa as a member of the highly successful Glen Holland Seed eaters tour of the country. During the trip Case met members of the Rare Finch Conservation Group ( RFCG ) and promptly offered to translate the RFCG website into Dutch and help spread the growing awareness of our work into the Dutch speaking market .

The RFCG would publicly like to thank Case for his proactive gesture and time contribution to the conservation work  that we do. In today’s busy world it is not only money that is needed to make things happen, but people that donate skills and time can often become as valuable a contributor to a specialist group as any financial donor is to an organistaion.

Not to be outdone by the Dutch contribution the RFCG website , thanks to a donor in Germany, will soon also be available in German to help spread our growing international awareness programme

The RFCG is currently raising funds to commence with Phase 3 of our field research work . For more information on the work that we do please contact Eelco Meyjes at editor@avitalk.co.za . The RFCG is registered as a non profit organisation .
