The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest: A mecca for finch enthusiasts

18 Oct
The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is situated within the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (BINP) in southwestern Uganda. It’s nicknamed the ‘place of darkness’, although for finch enthusiasts, it is neither dark nor impenetrable!
Over 43 finch species have been spotted by birdwatchers in the forest, making it a finch enthusiast’s haven. In the upcoming weeks, the RFCG blog will be writing more posts on Uganda (and the Bwindi) as a viable destination for prospective travellers and birdwatchers.
